Elios was a modern Italian dining concept in the heart of Epping, designed to blend warmth, tradition, and refined hospitality.

As a brand-new restaurant entering a saturated market, the owners needed a complete digital presence that could establish credibility, build a following, and attract a steady flow of customers from day one.

The Challenge

To launch a restaurant brand from scratch and turn it into a local favorite in both the digital and physical world.

Elios had no website, no brand identity, no social media, and no digital visibility. The challenge was to create everything from the ground up. That included building a brand personality, establishing local SEO, building a social media community, and generating buzz in a competitive restaurant landscape.

The Insight

Hospitality begins online.

We approached the project with the belief that a great restaurant experience begins long before guests arrive. Our goal was to design a brand that captured the ambiance Elios aimed to deliver. It needed to feel warm, welcoming, and elevated.

We planned a digital ecosystem that would introduce Elios to the community and give people a reason to return. From SEO to social media to local event marketing, every touchpoint was designed to reflect the heart of the restaurant and build lasting visibility.

Our Approach

  • Designed and developed a custom WordPress website that showcased the restaurant’s open-kitchen concept, seasonal menus, and inviting atmosphere
  • Created a full brand identity from scratch, including color palettes, typography, and visual storytelling rooted in Italian culinary tradition
  • Built and executed a local SEO strategy with Google Business optimization, structured metadata, and citation building to improve local rankings
  • Collaborated with local publications and food bloggers to secure free print and digital features, boosting credibility and backlinks
  • Managed social media channels with a focus on high-quality photography, engaging captions, and strategic collaborations to grow local awareness
  • Concepted and promoted live in-restaurant events to attract foot traffic, create content opportunities, and build community relationships
  • Streamlined digital marketing efforts to support positive reviews, local press coverage, and word-of-mouth visibility

The Result

Elios became a recognized name in the local dining scene, building strong visibility across Google and social platforms. The brand ranked highly for key search terms in a competitive region and drew steady foot traffic through a combination of SEO, social engagement, and event marketing.

Guests connected with the experience before they ever walked through the door, and many returned because the brand felt familiar, thoughtful, and elevated.

Although the restaurant later closed for reasons unrelated to its digital presence, Elios remains one of my proudest projects. It was a collaboration that blended design, strategy, and community into something truly special — and showed the power of a well-built brand from day one.
